  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, spices, and salt.
  3. Beat in eggs, then gradually stir in evaporated milk until smooth.
  4. Pour filling into the pie crust.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F, then reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 40–50 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool for at least 2 hours. Serve with whipped cream.
