Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cold brew or strong iced coffee
- 1½ tbsp smooth tahini (unsweetened)
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup (or agave/date syrup)
- Pinch of sea salt (optional but recommended)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- ½ cup ice cubes
- Splash of plant-based milk (optional – oat, almond, etc.)
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: Add tahini, sweetener, vanilla, and salt to a mason jar or shaker.
- Add Coffee & Ice: Pour in cold brew or espresso and add ice.
- Shake It Up: Seal tightly and shake for 15–20 seconds until creamy and frothy.
- Serve: Pour into a tall glass. Add a splash of plant milk if desired.
- Optional Garnish: Drizzle tahini around the glass or sprinkle with cinnamon.
Notes
- For best results, use smooth, runny tahini — not dry or clumpy types.
- Adjust sweetness to taste depending on your coffee strength.
- Add a bit of cocoa powder for a mocha version.
