Description

This Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli is a delicious and easy dish that combines tender beef, crisp broccoli, and a savory sauce. Perfect for any dinner or party!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds of beef (flank steak or sirloin), sliced thinly
  • 1 cup of broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and water.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  4. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the slow cooker and stir.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, add some red pepper flakes for heat.

You can also use other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas!
