Description

A delicious, oven-baked familial pizza recipe made for sharing. Perfect for family nights, parties, or weekend fun. Crispy crust, customizable toppings, and full of togetherness.


Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2ÂĽ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the sauce & toppings:

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup pepperoni or cooked sausage
  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers
  • ½ cup mushrooms
  • ÂĽ cup black olives
  • ½ tsp oregano or Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and olive oil. Let sit 5 mins. Add flour and salt. Knead until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the oven: Set oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone or baking tray inside to heat up.
  3. Shape the dough: Roll out risen dough into a 14–16 inch circle. Place on parchment paper.
  4. Add toppings: Spread sauce evenly, then add cheese and toppings of your choice.
  5. Bake the pizza: Slide parchment onto hot tray/stone. Bake for 12–15 mins until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  6. Slice & enjoy: Let rest 2–3 mins before slicing. Serve immediately.

  • Substitute with gluten-free flour if needed
