Description

The Bahama Mama Tropical Smoothie is a café-style drink made with frozen fruit, coconut milk, and a sweet creamy twist. Inspired by Tropical Smoothie Café’s popular version, this homemade blend is bursting with pineapple, strawberries, and a hint of white chocolate — making it a perfect summer sip or anytime treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ¾ cup coconut milk (or coconut cream)
  • 2 tbsp white chocolate chips (or vanilla yogurt)
  • ½ cup ice

Optional:

  • ½ ripe banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Shredded coconut for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add coconut milk to the blender.
  2. Add frozen strawberries and pineapple.
  3. Add white chocolate chips (or yogurt), banana, and ice.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness with honey if needed.
  6. Pour into glass, garnish, and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Frozen fruit gives the best texture — no need for too much ice.
  • Add more coconut milk if too thick.
  • For a dairy-free option, use plant-based yogurt.
  • Garnish with shredded coconut, mint leaves, or a pineapple wedge.
